What we collect
Red Flag Radar is designed to minimise data collection.
- We do not require an account, username, password, or email address.
- We do not ask for your name, age, location, or contact details.
- We do not create a personal profile or advertising identifier for you.
- We do not intentionally store your individual scenario answers, relationship choices, final score, final archetype, or clipboard contents for analytics.
Hosting and analytics
Cloudflare provides hosting and privacy-oriented web analytics for this site.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics may collect aggregate page-view and device-level metrics when enabled from the Cloudflare dashboard. It does not use individual cookies or persistent user identifiers.
- We also record a small number of anonymous game events, such as game started, resumed, restarted, completed, replayed, and share interactions. These events contain only the event type and application version; they are stored in a Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine dataset.
- Game answers and scores are not transmitted for analytics.
- If analytics is unavailable, blocked, or misconfigured, the game continues normally with no visible impact.
Browser storage
The game uses your browser's localStorage to remember which scenarios you played most recently and to restore an unfinished game if you close and reopen the page. This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Your choices
We provide an owner/testing opt-out for analytics: open the site with ?noanalytics=1 to disable analytics for that browser, or ?noanalytics=0 to re-enable it. This feature is intended for testing and is not used for ordinary visitors.
